It was an important international debut for Accessible Tourism, the Plus Planet division dedicated to accessible tourism in Italy.
After taking part in ITBerlin 2019 in March, Accessible Tourism was the first Italian Tour Operator dedicated to accessible tourism to participate in Rehab Karlsruhe, the international fair for rehabilitation, care, technological innovation and leisure, which was held from 16 to May 18 in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany.
The event, now in its 20th edition, saw the participation of over 460 operators from 21 countries around the world who presented the main innovations in the field of rehabilitation and orthopedic therapies. An event set up in an area of over 49,000 square meters where all the latest industry news have found place, as well as meetings, workshops and demonstrations of sports associations.
For the first time also accessible Italy was present at this important event with Accessible Tourism: the T.O. of The Plus Planet that participated in the German three-day event with its own stand, in which was offered the 2019 catalog dedicated to accessible tourism in Italy.
From accommodation facilities, transfer services, nursing assistance, up to travel packages and guided tours: numerous services were showed by Accessible Tourism and addressed to all types of disabilities. There is also an offer dedicated to silver tourism, a type rising tourism. The Italian offer was much appreciated by the public of the fair that crowded the stand and asked for information and contacts.
